The Paradies Shops acquires new candy brand

Airport retailer ‘The Paradies Shops’ has signed an exclusive license agreement to operate the Dylan’s Candy Bar stores in gateways throughout the United States and Canada.

Dylan’s Candy Bar is a known brand in North America and offers passengers a wide selection of candy, chocolate and “all other things sweet”, as well as selling its own style of “candy-inspired apparel, jewelry and accessories”.

In addition the Dylan's Candy Bar concept features candy-inspired fashion, a café serving baked treats and ice cream, as well as a “party room” and a candy-cocktail bar, which is decorated with giant Pop Art installations of oversized sweets.

Gregg Paradies, CEO of The Paradies Shops, said: “Known for merging the worlds of art, fashion and pop culture with candy, Dylan's Candy Bar is truly a sweet addition to The Paradies Shops’ family of brands and we are honored to partner with this premier candy company.

“We are excited to offer airports a creative retreat where customers can step into modern day Candy Land, escape the hustle and bustle of the day and indulge in the world’s finest candies, confections and apparel.”

A family-owned business, The Paradies Shops operates more than 550 stores in more than 75 markets across the United States and Canada.
